Hi divya

Check this link

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm32/helpdata/EN/69/c24c824ba111d189750000e8322d00/content.htm

Using SCC8 the export is done to the transport directory the files can be seen:

Data files:

¨ /usr/sap/trans/data/ROnnnnnn. client005

After importing the KO and KT, you have to run transaction SCC7 in the target system for the import post processing, in which text files are automatically imported.

Hello,

You need to perform postprocessing activities to adapt the runtime environment to the current state of the data.

This is performed when you execute SCC7 after import of request generated with SCC8.

For Eg. what I have observed is SCC7 internally triggers programs so as to change logical system name from Source name to target name. (Similar to function of BDLS transaction)

Hope this helps.
