Doubt about SCC7

Hi experts,

My doubt is why I have to call T-code SCC7 after import Requests (generate in SCC8), is not satisfactory only import request.

What exactly does the SCC7 transaction.

Please anyone could explain me ?

You need to perform postprocessing activities to adapt the runtime environment to the current state of the data.

This is performed when you execute SCC7 after import of request generated with SCC8.

For Eg. what I have observed is SCC7 internally triggers programs so as to change logical system name from Source name to target name. (Similar to function of BDLS transaction)

Hope this helps.
