Hi,

Please check the low level code of your FG (MARA-DISST) and tell the result.

And you can also check OSS note 42891.

Thanks,

Csaba

I have check under MARA-DISST,result as below:-

FD lower level code is 003

but material B is 002

is this differences will bring any impact?

Thank you.

Hi Sasy,

I think this means that there's chance that your FG builds in the bulk material's BOM since its (FG's) low level code is higher...

If you checked the multi level BOM in CS11 it is only one thing. Your bulk material may have alternative BOM as well, or design BOM, etc. Maybe there's a problem about validity date as per OSS note given in my previous post.

You can check the situation via CS15 as well (check in which BOMs your FG builds in, please give a very wide validity date).

You can also create a query using tables MAST-STKO-STPO and check how many BOMs your bulk material has. You can also check whether the FG is aprt of any of these BOMs since there's only one level difference between them.

Please come back with the results of your investigation.

Thanks,

Csaba

Dear Csaba,

Do you know how the system perform the checking on recursiveness? Is it within the same plant or regardless the plant?

Thanks.

Hi,

According to SAP help recursiveness check is valid for a BOM group, so not only within a plant as per my knowledge:

Hi,

If system check regardless the plant then i think i know the root cause already,as i check in other plant i found the recursive BOM.

Thanks for all the resourcefull information provided.Appreacite for your kind assistance.
