BOM with cost estimate

hi

i have created bom

ie bom item and header quantity as the ratio of for one header item 10 nos of bom item required.

i have created cost estimate

for the same base quantity .

but at estimate i have seen that quantities are varying ie

not as per the bom

can any one suggest possible settings.

Ima not sure of understading,

are the quantities different?

have you checked if the product costing uses te same alternative BOM?

are the prices different?

check in the costing variant which criteria do you have to valuate the bom. You can select the standard price or the moving average price, etc.

i checked/ compared the quantities with BOM which is assigned at quantity structure with the costing structure quantities

here my costing lot size is same as the bom base quantity

how can system calcultes different item quantity at costing structure quantitites ???
