Hi Gurus,

i am new to DMS i want to impliment DMS to my client.they have given some files

Engineering Drawing - Machines

Machine Catalogs

Caliberation

Warranty/Guarantee Certificates

Company Registrations

Contracts of Capex & Agents

Safety Data Sheets

Quality Standards for Reference

Employee(Member) Profile

Import & Export related

Standard Operating Procedures

Interview Feedback Forms

Safety Procedures

Standard Formats

Software Licences

pls let me know how to do config settings for these documents

Hi Giri,

Please note that before you start uploading Document in SAP DMS you have to complete some configuration part as per your requirement.. you have to define diff document types, status network, object linking, approvals, distributions, also some server settings, etc.

you can use available document type to store documents or else create new document type

To create new document type use Tcode "SPRO"---> Cross Application Components -

> Document Management> Control Data--> Define Document Types

Use transaction code CV01n (Create Documents)

Use transaction code CV02n (Change Documents)

Use transaction code CV03n (Display Documents)

Use transaction code CV04n (Search Documents)
