Authorization Problem when testing a web service

I'm trying to test the web service QUERY_VIEW_DATA in BI. After som problems with the white list for the hosts and the portal authorizations I am now able to get to the test page in the Web Service Navigator. When I enter the parameters I get the message

Authorization

The selected endpoint requires basic authentication. Please, enter correct username and password:

But when I enter my user and password (which has lots of authorization in both the ABAP and the Java Stack) I have no effect, the screen appears again.

Can somebody please tell me

1. if I need to maintain my user in the ABAP or Java Stack

and 2. What kind of authorization might be needed.
