Only one scheduling line per delivery position

The delivery process in SAP (Transaction VL01N, VL10...) gives the opportunity to deliver several scheduling lines in one step, if the open quantity is big enough. E.g. we have 2 lines ready for dispatch.

We have a special customer requirement, where just one scheduling line per delivery position has to be delivered.

Is there any opportunity to realize this?

And a further question concerning the scheduling lines:

Is there any opportunity within the delivery position to determine the original scheduling line which is delivered?

Thanks in advance

Andreas

Hi,

Now, lets say you are creating a sales order for material A for 100 items for cusotmer X and then system will perform the availibility check at SO creation level. If say, after ava.check system has given two schedule lines.. for today 18.09.08 - 60 items and for next week 25.09.08 remaining 40 items... now this will create two deliveries... right... so if you want to avoid this {if I have understood your query correctly} then you have one option mark the complete delivery in customer master... then put "C" in partial deliveries allowed field in same place...

Your problem will be solved...

Do let me know...

Yes, I know this setting in customer master data. We use it in reference to SD-Orders, where we want to avoid partial deliveries for a position.

But this case is a bit different:

We have a delivery schedule (type LZ) which is delivered by JITdelivery schedules.

Normally the dispatch-person can deliver several scheduling lines at the same time with one delivery position. This may be necessary e.g. in case of backorder quantity.

e.g. 09/20/2008 Required quantity = 60 pieces

09/21/2008 40 Required quantity = 40 pieces

If the delivery on 09/20/2008 is canceled for any reason, the dispatch-person can deliver 100 pieces in one delivery position on 09/21/2008.

But in this case the cusomer requires one delivery position or even one delivery note per schedule line. This means:

Two delivery positions/notes have to be created on 09/21/2008 for this special customer, one with 60, one with 40.

It should be avoided to deliver 100 pieces in one delivery position.

So we want to guarantee seperated deliveries by scheduling line.

How can we do that?
