Yes Kathrivel,

thanks for the responses..

We need to define the both Logical systems in Both the servers.

we need to define Distribution models and message type in bothe the systems

we need to define RFC destinations

we need to define ports for both the systems

we need to create partner profile

Thanks kathrivel,

I did all the definitions.

SRM CLNT 100

ECC CLNT 100

When u assign to each other ....SRM CLNT 100 cant view in ECC server.

ECC CLNT 100 cant view in SRM server.

becasuse both are on different servers.(created logical systems are on different systems)

Can any clue for this ) ???

Hi

You can connect both system via SM59 .

so that both system communcates each other.

hope you would have assigned one client to one logical system - srm. and assign one client with another logical system r/3.

Hi Sai,

You have to create in both system:

SRM:
You have to create SRMCLNT100 & ECCCLNT100
ECC:
You have to create SRMCLNT100 & ECCCLNT100

Thanku muthu,

iam moving bit forward,

s...i created a logical system SRMCLNT100 in SRM

i created a logical system ECCCLNT100 in ECC

i cannot even see the logical system of SRMCLNT100 in ECC because ECC and SRM are on different SERVERS.

There the problem...how can we do this...

between TWO SERVERS....

Hi Sai,

Logical System Naming/Creation procedure is not dependent on the servers but it is just a logical representation of a system.

As you are trying to name logical systems for ECC & SRM, please follow the below procedure which is usually recommeded by SAP and followed.

Logical System : <SID>CLNT<Client Number>

For Example if you have a client 300 in system DE0 (also called SID), the logical system name will be DE0CLNT300. And it will be same for SRM system.

You can refer the below document which eplains the creation of logical system and RFC destinations etc

http://help.sap.com/printdocu/core/Print46c/en/data/pdf/CABFAALEQS/CABFAALEQS.pdf

Note: Only while configuring the RFC Destination, the servers will play a crucial role.

HI

please verify SCC4 transaction code. Client vs logical system. As well BD54 has all logical system definitions.
