committed quantity in production order

Hi all

In producton order component, there is an field"committed quantity", what is meaning of it? what is the usage of it? is it quantity which, according to the availability check, is available? why I have done atp in production order, the quantity is still 0, and the stock of material is not 0. why?

Hi,

Stock is not available thats why System is not showing the commited quantity.

So first maintain the stocks for all the components

We have put the stock, and do check the ATP in production order. The committed quantity is updated.
