hi all,

can anybody tell me the procedure for the remote client copy.

the requirement is like "our FI consultants want only customizing data from PRD to DEV ".

now i created rfc connections b/w prd and dev.

i check the table spaces which is showing 80% filled up maximum amount.

i have 22.4GB free space in the dev system.

i am checking the size of the source client (i.e., prd) with rsspacecheck option in sa38 tcode.

and what more should i perform in order to do the client copy.

also if there is any wrong thing i did as mentioned.

regards,

bhupesh

I suggest you calculate source client size before doing client copy.

Check this Note 118823 - CC-ADMIN: Size of a client

Hi,

1) First go to PRD server and now u try to do Export by using T-code: SCC8. by doing this Export make sure that u send only the customizing data only.

there u will find the option Customizing ...

2) Second got to DEV server and not u try to do Import by using T-code: SCC7 ur problem will be solved.

Hi Bhupesh,

After create the RFC,

1.go to tcode SCC9

there give the RFC destination and select the SAP_CUST proflile from the profile list.

2. Then click on the Button "RFC comparision" it compares all the relate tables and list the inconsistancies if any. If there is some inconsistancies in tables then you can take the help of ABAP and resolve it.

3. If you not confirm with sufficient space, then go for the test run, there in the log you can find the required space also.

good luck
