Hi,
I am one problem in SAP HR time mgt.
There are 2 types of absences
"MLFD - Monthly leave full day" and "MLHD- Monthly leave half day"
By applying any of the leaves monthly leave quota type (MLQO) gets deducted.
For MLFD absence type i have given min days as 001 and maximum days as 999.
For MLHD absence type i have given min days as 000 and maximum days as 001.
Working days are defined as 8 hours a day.
User wants when they input MLHD automatically 4 hrs should come and half day monthly leave quota should be deducted.
I want to know is there any indicator as half day for absence types ?
Or
is there any to way to bring the 4hrs automatically ?
Thank Q very much in advance
With regards,
Chandra Sekhar

Hello Chandra.....
For you MLHD...
Give a try by following the below process....
1. Create a absence type MLHD
2. Do not give any min or max days in the creation screen
3. Open rounding rules...create a rule in the following way...
Lower Limit as 0.00000 (do not check incl box)
Upper Limit as 1.00000 (do not check incl box)
Targer value as 0.50000 (check the roll box)
4. Open counting rules...create a rule in the following way...
Check the weekday as per your requirement
Check all the Holiday classes
Check "Work acc to Work Schedule" under Day types
Check all the boxes in "Counting Class for PWS"
Check all the boxes in DWS Class except "0"
Planned hours > 0
<1 day
Counting Days : Quota multiplier : 100%; Rounding the rule number (which i have mentioned above)
5. Assign the above counting rule to your absence type in " Assign counting rules to absence types" option..
Please let me know...if it is working...or not...so that i can look for another option...
Regards
Vijay
