SAP EP performance when used with a dial up internet connection

HI,

We are implementing SAP EP 7.0 with the backend system being SAP ERP 6.0.

About 50 users of the web enabled SAP EP will access only through dial up connections , it means a maximum internet speed of 56 KBS .

My question is , can users access SAP EP with low bandwidths ? if we cannot do we have a workaround?

hi,

Yes the perforamnce will be bit slow.. but if you follow the steps given in External facing portal like light framnework page etc. and there are benchmark given by SAP for Portal, which you will need to follow which could give you good performance.

It will also depend on load balancer and Web Displatcher you use..
