hi friends,

plz make me clear on this issue.

i have gone through the process of 2 clients. in both the cases full and final settelments were calculating at the outside sap.

if we can't do this with in SAP, why? explain me.

if we can do this, how? plz tell me the process.

This is usually done outside sap because

There are lot of things to consider

Example How many Leaves have to be componsated ..

How the Pf to be Treated,

Did he served full notice period....

You can do the full and final settlement in sap

procedure is:-first run the LEAVING action delimit the entries and then run off cycle payroll for that emoployee.

as u said to run the leaving action with delimiting all the infotypes.

as an example, if u r having this scenario at your client site plz tell me that what are all infotypes u delimited in leaving action and for running off-cycle what are all the wage types u processed.

plz explain me. it will help me lot.
