BOM is not expoded after mrp run.

please tell me where i did mistake.

Hello,

Alongwith the other matter ,Pl.check the BOM items defined in t-code OPJD.

Inv.mgt indiacator must be selected for stock item.

SAP experts pl. correct if i am wrong.

also check in OPPQ is there any setting in BOM explosion date also check BOM selection id

Hi,

Please check the status of the BOM & for the corresponding status check in transaction OS23 if MRP explosion check box is selected.

If a BOM is not exploded possible reasons could be

1. Validity period of BOM

2. BOM Status should be active for MRP.

3. BOM Components should be relevant to production.

4. Check whether you have defined the selection ID for the

priority of BOM Usage in SPRO define order of priority of

BOM Usage.

Pl. check in T.code OPPQ (plant parameters), if you have mentioned the BOM explosion ID. or in T.code OPPR (mrp group).

Also check in the material master, mrp 4 view,

the bom selection id. whether it is based on lot size or based on production version.

You can cross check using t.code cs11 or cs12

pls check the selection method in MRP4 view, choose selection by production version.

Dear Mohan,

Check for the planning file entries for the material in MD21 . If the entries are not there make relevant entry in MD20 . And re-run MRP with the planning mode ' 2 ' as Mr.Raja said.

Hi,

Check with CS11 Tcode for Exploding BOM.

If it is ok

Then Material Master MRP4 view, you will be having option reexplode BOM.

Even in MRP run in MD02 , you will be option Explode BOM in Planning.
