Table ZXX Could Not Be Activated (Error - Nametab of table cannot be genera

Dear All,

I am facing an Error :

Table ZXX could not be activated Error - nametab of table cannot be generated.

The backgorund of this problem is:

A transport was attempted initially for this ZXX table which failed with errors ( fo a different kind ).

The table was activated again at the source and assigned to a new transport request after the nametab error surfaced.

Attempting another transport has thrown up the same error once more.

Appreciate your valued guidance on this.

try to delete first (with SE14) then re-create the table

WHile releasing a request u r facing or while activating a table.

if it is while activating a table u use database utility -

or from SE11----- Utilities -

both r same.

Hi,

I am not facing the error while activating it/ releasing its workbench request.

I am facing it while an attempt to transport it to another server is made.

Is it due to the request type?

Have a clarification with BASIS people,

This error will occur because of DB constraints also.

Revrt back .
