Hi Venkat,

Whenever you want to maintain the organizational structure you can create it by using two entity ie organizational unit and position. Organization unit can have different function -sales,service and marketing (go to function tab and select radio buttons).

Now if you are having function as sale it becomes sales organization.Further to have a complete structure you have can sales office within the sales organization and then under the sales office some sales group. Finally you can assign employes to this group.

As far as manual selection of org is concerned you need to check the checkbox -object permitted in determination under tab attribute for all the organization unit and positions you created.

Hope this will help you.

Regards,

Rahul

Hi Venkat,

Sales organization is a unit of Organizational Unit along with Sales Group and Sales Office.

You have to maintain Sales Organization in SPRO - Customer Relationship Management - Master Data - Organizational Management - Assignment of Organizational Units from SAP ECC - Assign SAP CRM Sales Organizations to SAP ECC Sales Organizations.

Check the Building Block - Organizational Model Document (C01 or C02) depending upon your scenario.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

Best Regards,

Arun Sankar.
