Default Payroll Area in infotype 0001

Dear Experts,

We can default Payroll Area on the basis of Personal Area in infotype 0001.

Is there a way we can default a payroll area on the basis of employee group or employee subgroup while hiring an employee or just maintaining infotype 0001?

Hi Vikki!

Of course its possible.

Go to PE03 and maintain the feature ABKRS.

The following is an example:

D PERSG

1 D PERSK

1 01 &ABKRS=01

Do not forget to activate the feature when you're done!

You can use the following criteria for defaulting Payroll area in IT0001 by using feature ABKRS

TCLAS Transaction class for data storage

MOLGA Country Grouping

BUKRS Company code

WERKS Personnel area

BTRTL Personnel subarea

PERSG Employee group

PERSK Employee subgroup
