PLD :: 'INR' SHOLD NOT DISPLAY IN PRICE AND TOTAL COLUMNS

ONE OF MY CLIENT WONT REQUIRED INR IN PRICE AND TOTAL COLUMN, HOW CAN WE REVOVE IT PLEASE GIVE ME SOLUTION FOR THIS ISSUE

hi sridhar

i am trying to get amount without inr in a/r invoice

1st i saved pld to my co. name from default one

i designed everything with client's requirement

price" total" tax and some more are system variables

and i gon to properties screen and selected content and there i taken formula instead of system variable

there in formula editing i inserted "amount(field_024)"

when i updating its showing that message ,and i selected yes

but its not working

Hi

Assume Field_024 is PriceField and it displays INR 140.50.

Now add another 'Formula Field' and use the function amount(Field_024).

This field will display only 140.50.

I am myself a novice to SAP B1, I just happened to stumble on this thread. Dear your question is answered already by Sridharan T more than once.

I happened to understand what is required to be done (with my limited exposure to B1 and PLD's). From your question it appears that you into implementation of SAP B1, thus you should be fimiliar with what was suggested.

Could you please award points suitably to Mr. Sridharan T, and close the question.

i changed present price table to formula and i inserted amount(field_24)

i taken amount from dropdown box and i selected the field from repetative area and try to update

then its showing the message that " circular references have been detected" and your document may not be print properly

after adding the document i try to view preview but the preview is not showing

this is what happen, please give me some more information

Mention for which screen and which PLD (Variable) you are trying out.

but the thing is i am not able to get the results

price and total " are system variables, whe i try to change these by selecting formula its rising error that

" circular references have been detected (rpt-6712) field_24) (message-200-38)

that is what i am facing... tell me with one example or screenshots anybody please

Hi

I would explain how to do this with respect to PO PLD.

In PO PLD, Total amount is 'Field_051' which is 'System Variable' no 108

This prints in INR.

Now drag one more Formula Field in the PLD.

Use the following formula,

Amount(Field_051)

Now this field will print amount without INR.

Create a formula field for price using function

Assume Price is Field_034 Total is Field_035

Substring(Field_034,3) & similary for total

Substring(Field_035,3)

Drag a formula field and use the funtion Amount() in the Formula field which returns only amount.
