copy a business object from local to a transport

I have a business object that is saved as local, how can I move it to my transport?

Reena,

$TMP objects are not transportable.Assign the object to a package so that you can create a Transport Request which can be transported to Quality/Production.

Change the package to which it belongs. ( usually the menu option to use is "Object Directory Entry" ).

Or create a Transport of Copies

Or add it in manually to a transport.

Hi

Go to SWO1 Tcode and give your business object name and click on F6, Go to utilities and change Requests.

You can do that using SE03 transaction

In that you can see Object Directory Entry

Click the Change button.

Enter the SOBJ in the Object and press enter, then you can See R3TR in the program ID. enter the Business object , and select the row and press F8.

Here you change the package, during that time it will ask the request.
