"location code"(City Coordinates)

Hi experts!

Thank you for pay attention to my message! I have a question about the function of "location code"(City Coordinates) in customer master general date.

What the function of it? Does it affect the delivery? or it is just a information field like "Tax Number " ?

Hi there,

As I see there is no location code in the customer master. Looks like it is a customized development for your company.

May be there is a customized logic basing on the location code (city cordinates). There could be route determiantion or tax logic written basing on that.

If any field is mandatory then there will be a tick symbol in the field & system willnot allow you to save without that entry.

The "location code" is in the customer master data>>>genenral data>>>control data tab page

It is not a customized development as well.

I can see this field is not used frenquently.
