You need to do some customizing:
Transaction S_ALN_01000798 : here you specify which SAP form should use what smartform (your own Z*)
please check transaction S_ALN_01000789 regarding your correspondence activity
Make sure your smartform is activated.
That should be sufficient to make it work.
If you are experiencing any problems, please take a further look at your customizing.
