Hi All,
I have an requirement where the user while attaching the documents needs his/her signature (electronically) on the attachments. the signature should be identical to signature if he/she signs manually on the paper.
Is this possible in DMS? if yes then please let me know.
Thank You,
Manoj
Hi Manoj,
my first thought was about the redlining functionality in the ECL Viewer. If you display the image in the ECL Viewer then you see the menu 'Tools'. Within this menu you will find the 'Redlining' entry.
With this functionality you are able to add some graphics, texts or stamps to the original image. You can also add some images too. So if your users want to add the scanned signature they should be able to do this by using the redlinin function in the ECL Viewer.
Best regards,
Christoph

Hi,
For digitally signing MS Office files you can use Microsoft digital signature facility that will allow users to digitally sign a document. ( requires third party digital signature software like Verisign)
or alternatively you can use abap development to imprint the signature on files.
For drawings you can use ECL viewer stamping facility.
