Romote Client Copy error

Dear All,

I am trying to remote client copy using scc9 in test mode. Both systems are having same patch level. Test mode completed with warnings. In scc3 log it shows some table list, field is missing locally. What is the reason & is there any problem.

Log Example: Table VIOB02 is convertible to the RFC system, field missing locally.

Program ended with error or warning, return code: W

Hi Sanjay,

When you get the error of missing field locally, (eg: if it is a development -> quality, quality->production system, the transport must be in the quality system but not moved into production)

With the help of abaper, the transport request can be moved.

after which the client copy can be done.

Please do check that they also have the same plug ins (eg:- ST-PI ,etc) after checking with the patch level.

Hi,

The fields in your target system is not matching with your fields in your source system.

It may happen due to folowing reasons

1. The related request is not moved to the source system

2. some one has changed the the table directly in the source system.

you can take the help of the ABAP consultant and also the help of functional responsible for the perticular table.

after eliminate the difference then you can go for a successful remote client copy.

I would suggest you take help of your Abaper in this case.
