Planned order:weekly bucket

Hi Experts

I am working with weekly bucket. My demand is in 2nd week for 120 tonne. My Resource Capacity is of 80 tonne.

I want that my system is to be configured in that manner, after generating the planned order for 80 tonne at 2nd week it will also generate the planned order of 40 tonee in next bucket.

Hi Guru,

Please check your resource capacity??? Please also see the optimizer Log??? Does it shows that resource is overload??

I did the same, but the thing is that it is not planning for the next bukets for the remaining quantities, it is generating the planned orders of 120 tonne in same week only.

So, Partha when u are coming to Kolkatta !

Hi Guru,

Use SNP optimizer, as this is the only tool available to consider ur production capacity.

When u run optimizer, as the capacity is only 80 tonne, system will not propose more than that and you should also allow Maximum dealy is 7 days. Also maintain No delivary penalty is very high. So, system should always propose the remaining qty in the next bucket. Please adjjust Deplay penalty accordingly.

This should be possible with the above scenario.
