Result &original value

Dear All,

I am getting problem in result recording.

eg-if i put .3 then original value is coming as .3 ,

when i put 0.3 then original value is coming as 0.3

I need original value as 0.3 every time,whether it is 0.3 or .3.

Where i can do the configuration for this.

you don't have any setting to avoid, this

system will behave what evet the result you enter the same will be recorded in the original value.

Hi Kailash,

In the field Original Value the system saves the original value that was actually entered during results recording.Attributes that may have been entered are also saved.

E.g. if you will enter it .3 it will save .3 only in the original value but in the field result it will furnish the value with it's characteristic values set at MIC level in the inspection plan or task list.(if in MIC the decimal places are set as 2, then in result field it will present the result as 0.30). AM I correct? It is happening so in your case also, right?

So the Original value will be shown as it is entered during the RR. But results will be displayed in all the reports \ layouts as per the characteristic set at MIC level.
