Unable to save amount

Dear Team,

We have a custom IT9002.

For which we have few wagetypes for these when we key the amount and save only the wagetype gets saved but not the amount.

We get the following message

Wage type 9CAR was not valuated indirectly

Message no. RP839

Diagnosis

Wage type 9CAR is stored in the Basic Pay infotype (0008) without an amount and indicator for indirect valuation. However, in the Wage Types view (T511), this wage type is a module of indirect valuation.

System Response

The wage type will not be valuated indirectly.

Procedure

In the Amount field of wage type 9CAR, enter a blank character.

This calls indirect valuation again and sets the indicator for indirect valuation.
