Moving average price goes to zero

Dear Friends

One material Moving average price goes to zero. what are all the possibles to go to zero. Now the material stock is zero..

but moving average price is shown as zero.

Use full msgs will be rewarded..

if u get even zero MAP, no problem, since the material price is maintained in mR21.

Change in the MAP is always due to price difference beteween MMR MAP price and PO Price...

Is there any difference the Price at PO, Gr etc..from tht at MMR....

Hope you know how to calculate the MAP??pls check cal..

MAP calculation is

Totat stk qty+ grqty/totalstk.value+GRValue.

i know but only the thing is For that material we did two purchase order. we did to GR. and IR Also. the stock also consumed with 261 movement. but stock is zero. but how the MAP is goes to zero.. can u help me..

If it is, then then it'll nt update the stock account ..right!!....because itwill be directly consumed...so stock value will be zero......

Pls tell the Prices at MMR, PO, GR, IR...

Its consumption material. its consumption done through order reference. why mvp goes to zero..pls..tell me..

hi,

MMR is Material master record..

FORMULA:

Difference/Current stock holding + current moving average...

As the its a consumption material, there is a direct posting to consumption account, no stock update...and from the above formula we can see that current MAP and Current stock holding is also Zero..so the MAP auto. becomes Zero...

Also remember always if this difference falls more then MAP also goes negative also....
