ServiceDataControlCentre is already active

Hi Susin,

that suggests that you did not successfully deactivate the task processor. I would suggest you try to deactivate it again.

Perhaps you should consider getting help from SAP via a customer message.

best regards,

Hi Susin,

sorry to keep asking questions...to fiy this problem normally you have to deactivate the task processor via SDCCN->GoTo->Settings->Task Processor and reactivate it in another way: SDCCN->Utilities->Activate.

When you choose SDCCN->Utilities->Activate, what does the log say?

Hi,

Do find the Snote 763561 where i found answer for your problem which depicts as shown below:-

-

When trying to create a task in SDCCN an error message

appears: ' No action possible '. Why can the task not be

created?

Answer : SDCCN has not yet been initialised correctly, and

so the customizing for the tasks has not been filled yet.

SDCCN can be initialised locally by following these steps:

Ensure that the task processor job is deactivated, via

SDCCN -> Goto -> Settings -> Task processor

Then initialise the tool via SDCCN ->Utilities -> Activate.

If the initialisation was succesful you should get the following

messages:

Local initialisation of new Service Data Control Center

Activation successful

Destination to SAP created

AUTO_SESSION_MANAGER descheduled Settings filled

Service Data Control Manager tasks created Task processor

scheduled

Jobname /BDL/TASK_PROCESSOR

Ensure that the task processor job is deactivated, via
SDCCN -> Goto -> Settings -> Task processor

Then initialise the tool via SDCCN ->Utilities -> Activate.

i have tried with these steps before posting this question . but that didn't help .

task processor is active . but no job is listed in'to do ' or 'done' job .

in the 'task log ' it displays ' manual creation of task failed '

Hi Susin,

did you try to deactivate the task processor first?
