Hi,
As per my understanding of the requirement, u need to create 2 records in the infotype 14 not in 15 because it is not recurring payments.
I think u scenario is like this
01.01.2006-31.07.2008 wage type 1208 has amt of Rs 500
31.07.2008-31.12.9999 ; wage type 1208 has amt Rs 600
delimit the exiting record to 31.07.2008
and create a new record on 01.08.2008.

Prince Elvis
Hi Usha,
Pls. check in IMG>Personnel Mgmt>Personnel Admn --->Payroll Data -> Additional Payment->Wage type>Check Entry Permissibility for per infotype.
Now select 1208 WT and click on Delimit.Mention the date as 01.08.2008 for new record.
On Screen, you can see one record from 01012006 to 31072008 for 1208, but when you will select 1208 and click on Expand --Collapse button (on top near "New Entry" button), you will be able to see the next record from 01082008 onwards, which you can select and delete.
This will ensure that your WT 1208 part of additional payment (0015) wage type group will be valid till 31.07.2008.
Best wishes.
Yes, definately there will be an impact on previous record if you delete the wage type.
When if you already did some calculations on that wagetype there is a chance those record can effect.
That is the reason SAP not recomend the deletion, If you need any changes you can very well delimit
Regards
hi usha,
as per my knowledge we can't give end of wage type b'coz if u want to give end date that means u r delimiting the wagetype. so give the start date only.
bye,
narmada.
