What Countries Support GTS?

Hi,

I know GTS is very active in Europe and USA.

What about ASIA PACIFIC?? Can we have GTS in asia pacific? If yes what can/cannot be done in doing so?

Hi Shruthi,

The GTS module with fairly standard International Trade Logistics capabilities can provide trade regulation compliance capabilities for countries around the world . It has both export and import functionality. On the export side, it checks to see if the export of a particular product is allowed from one specific country to another, where any licenses are required, what documents are needed, and it screens for denied parties and embargoes. It submits the export declaration directly to Customs.

Having said all this, currently it is more prevalent in US and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, where automated customs processing is commonly done. But it has the capabilities to be used in other regions also and soon it'll be in practice.
