Npviewer export not working

Within the last week, we are receiving the following message when a user attempts to export a report:

CRAXDRT Error occured on server. -2147190548. Error in file ??: Missing or out of date export dll.

We are using Npviewer on the user machines. I am able to export successfully from the server. We have been using this feature successfully for several years without a problem. Nothing changed on the server. We think this might be due to a Microsoft update. Does anyone know how this can be fixed?

Please re-post if this is still an issue to the Legacy Application Development SDKs Forum or purchase a case and have a dedicated support engineer work with you directly

Hi Diane

What is the Excat version of Crystal Reports that you are using?

Are you using any custom application like .NET or JAVA.

When exactly this error message comes up?

The version is 9.2.3.1699. The message comes up when the user attempts to export a report in rtf, xls, doc, or txt format. This is an asp application. I am able to successfully export files from the server when inside the crystal reports software. it is only our users who have downloaded the npviewer on their boxes who are having this problem. Incidentally, this application has been deployed since 2002 and we never had a problem exporting reports in these formats until 2 weeks ago.
