LCP's?

Hi Experts,

Please let me know ,what is legal compliance patch (LCP's) ? how it will work? who will identify LCP's? who is responsible for this?

How often it is identified in the project?

And can you please provide me documentation regarding LCP's

Balaji:

LCP means - Legal change process ( that's what I read somewhere). As the name says as per the country there could have a changes in some legal processes in payroll or employee recruitment etc., Such changes are comes through these LCP's.

At first you need to know what LCP patch your system is in. According to that check what is the latest available in SAP - then you should ask your basis person to load the changes - I mean new patches (LCP's). Before loading you should go through what are all the changes coming inside the system and once installed do a testing according to your business processes. If successful move it to produciton.
