Force report to default printer
CR XI. The reports are stored on a network share, not deployed to individual workstations.
Company switched a couple of printers, and now, although the users' default printers have been changed to valid new networked printers, several CR's require users to switch the printer from the old (now invalid) one.
I dutifully went to File -> Page Setup & checked the "No printer" box - which resulted in users being unable to access the printer choice dialog at all when opening the report via their apps that use Crystal Runtime.
So, then I went backt to File -> Page Setup and allowed the printer to be populated with the default printer of the CR Pro/design station, then saved the report. Now it defaults to that printer for all stations, not the default printer for each station at print time.
Is there not a way to force Crystal to default to the default printer of the workstation running the report?
