Installation of BO XI R2 sp2 with Tomcat

Hi,

I just created a new BO installation using Tomcat. Whenever I try to access Tomcat I usually ghet a message that the site is not found. Do Also need to install IIS. Could I be looking at a firewall issue. The Desktop tools work fine I can access designer and deski but the web components can't be found. Any ideas?

Hi Robert,

I encounetered the same issue with Tomcat. I simply had to add the BO Tomcat address to intranet sites under the internet option in Internet Explorer.

Let me know what happens.

Hi,

On which operating system did you install BO? I had problem with XP. Some services did not run properly. Then I installed BO on windows server 2003 operating system and it was working. It may be your case too.

It seems something went wrong, you should not need IIS and tomcat. Either IIS or tomcat should be installable and work right from the start.
