Hit Counter for KM Documents

Can we create an Iview which can show Hit Counter for each KM Documents? Is there any configuration for this? Or can we use Iview usage report by some work around?

Hi Nitesh

I had created a similar report using the same logic but did not try out the example mentioned in the document. I had done the following:

1. Create a metadata property to store the hit count for each document.

2. Followed the steps as described in [this|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/2654] blog to record hit count.

3. Created a service that loops through a repository and capture hitcount for each document and stored the result in a file. The same is displayed using an iView.

For your another question, the properties are created by the report itself. (in a static method in DocumentAccessReport.java)

Thanks

Deepak
