Unit of measure

Hi!

I need to be able to use diferrent units of measure in my sales order. These units don't have an exact conversion, for example:

Words / Units / Minimum charge /...

My client can't tell me the exact conversion so I can't maintain them as alternative units of measure, but I still need to be able to use any of them in my sales order.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

to develop anything either teh client should give the information or he needs to abide by what you tell.

If he is not able to tell the conversion factor then devise your own conversion factor.

Like in your case you can decide & standardise that 100 Words = 1 Unit & 10 Units = Min charge.

Ask him to follow the same conversion in his orders.

If he is not satisfied with what you proposed, then ask him to give his defintion.
