BEx Query Hierarchy

I have built a query around cost centre that shows actual postings against cost centre. In the query I have activated the hierarchy for cost centres. I have set the expand to level to only show me the first three levels but the query shows all levels? Why is this? We are using BI 7 SP16. I have made the infoobject authorisation relevant and created an aouthorisation object that allows them access to certain parts of the hierarchy. The authorisation gives them access to the hierarchy from Node 3 and it doesnt show 1 & 2 but it still shows all the rest despite the restriction placed on 0CostCenter in the query?

HI,

query Expand level needs to be defined at Query Designer to required level. Query will display be default expanded by that level.

Regarding Authorization, give authorization based on hierarchy node.
