Quoutations ---> Contracts -----> Sales orders :Restrictions

Hi Guru's

I am currently working on on 4.6C and would like to know if there is standard functionality that restrictis the Contract thats being copied from Quotation to have additional line items added to it, the same must apply to a Sales Order being created with reference to a Contract that will restrict additional line items being added to the Sales order .

I have check throughly but can't seem to find standard functionality .

Have you had any requested like this ini your environments .

Hi there,

In copy control VTAA from contract to order, at item level, try checking the field Complete Reference.

Hi thanks for the feedback

We have that field checked but all the system does is send out a message this does not prevent the user from capturing another line item in the new document being created.

Is there perhaps another option to prevent this from happening

I dont think it is possible using standard SAP. You have to write the code to check for the reference and then issue the message (warning or error) as per the requirement. Use the exit USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE in program MV45AFZZ.
