Configuring XI-demo

Hello,

I'm trying to configure the demo with the SAP XI 3.0 Demo Examples Configuration Guide. In 4.2.4 Client Copy, I have to login to the client 105 I created before, but I can't login with SAP* or my own username and password. Error: Name or password is incorrect. Please re-enter.

When I use transaction RSUR003, it says the following for the new clients:

SAP* Does not exist. Logon not possible. See SAP Note 2383

DDIC Does not exist.

SAPCPIC Does not exist.

Can someone please explain me how I can get access with the user SAP*?

HI,

I think SAP by default create one used id better to try with that id. It will work after that we can create users easily.

The demo confgurationguide says I have to login with user "SAP*" using the password "PASS". When I try to login to the new client it says "Name or password is incorrect". So that doesn't work.

I've read a lot about login/no_automatic_user_sapstar, that I have to change it to 0. I've tried to do this using transaction RZ10, but this has no effect.

I think ur current user don't have authorization to create new account.

The current user has all SAP System authorizations (SAP_All) and I have already created the new clients. As in the configuration guide I should be able to login with SAP*.
