Request of information about certification.

Hi,

I am new to Business one, i am planing to take up SAP B1 certification.

Is it mandatory to know Dot Net and VB for learning SAP B1?

what are the pre-requists for learning SAP B1 and for taking up certification?

i have a strong knowledge in SAP BASIS. Is this sufficient or any thing else i need to know.

Hi,

there are two certications.

one for consultant and one for developer.

if you want to certificate you usually contact your SAP supervisor.

cause you write here in the SDK part:

for developing AddOns VB and/or C# is a good base to know them.

SAP uses their own libraries - i recommend you to install the SDK (from SAP installation CD) and

have a look how a normal AddOn looks like - than you see if your knowledge is good enough.

i am from SAP Basis background. Now to learn the techinical part of B1, i need to know complete .Net and C#?????

why exactly we need to know them, is it because there will be lot of customization?

if you just want to be (technical) consultant you don't need vb or c#.

you just need them if you want to extend the business one.

if you're no developer just make the normal certification for consultants
