Substitute User

Hello Experts,

We have setup a User X as a subsittute to User Y...

So what ever the SC comes to USER X for approval will go to USER Y.(Both are holding Purchaser, Manager roles)

My que is can user Y can release the cart by going to Sourcing Cockpit or not

but i am sorry , it is not possible to have the shopping cart with both ( manager ) and the purchaser at the same time..

it can be with only one person at a time , either it is with the manager to approve (or) with the purchaser in the sourcing cockpit application...

and also it is not possible from sourcing cockpit to approve (or) reject any shopping cart , it can be used only to create follow - on documents.....

Hi,

The qstn is not clear, but from what I make of it, passive substitute functionality will suit your requirement. In this, the substitute (X) has to proactively go to the inbox of 'Y' from 'approval' page. Further 'Y' continues to receive work items in his inbox and X will not receive work items directly.
