product allocation process

Dear Coolegue,

iv'e tried to implimate product allocation process through best

practice scenario W40.

when im creating the sd order the system send the message:

"Product allocation check found changes to the confirmation'

and when im entering the product allocation screen i see a report which i cant understand what it meens...

any way the stock is not available which i dont understand why..

hope you can explain me what to do with it..

first thank's for your quick answer,

secondly i've checked the process and all the fields related

to the product allocation are empty..the Product allocated field

and Remaining allocation field,

do you have any idea way?

Hi ,

That means that the product allocation check shows that the confirmations you received exceed the agreed quotas. The confirmed quantities have been adjusted to the product allocation quantity that remains available.

Accept it by choosing Enter.

Enter the product allocation screen by selecting the line item with material W40 and choose Check item availability or choose menu path Edit -->Check availability Within the availability control choose Product Allocationu2019.

The required quantity is shown in the third column. The quantity that can be delivered in the current period is assigned and the quantity which cannot be delivered to the customer for the required period. The system shows also the quantity which will be committed for the next period.
