IT 585 not counted for exemptions

Hi experts,

When we are entering tax exemption amount in IT 585, tax is not reduced that is that amount is not counted for Exemption.

Please advise us in this.

Hi Sen Ku

Please check whether check box for 'Consider actual contribution for tax deduction' is checked

if not checked then amount wont be considered for tax deduction.

Is it a standard issue or Custom one?

Please let us know payroll Schema or rule to be changed.
