Credit control area update

Hi all.

We have two different company codes 1000 and 1100 assigned to two different credit control areas 1000 and 1100 respectively. Up till now no customer credit limits have been maintained.

Now we would like to assign the two company codes to the same credit control area 1000.

I've done this in the development system and I maintained the credit limits for some customers. But I noticed that credit exposure is calculated only by company code 1000.

Is there a way to update credit control area data?

Hi,

Credit limits and credit exposure are managed at both credit control area and customer level. You can set up credit control areas and other data related to credit management in Customizing for Financial Accounting.

- Enterprise Structure -> Definition or Assignment -> Financial Accounting and then Maintain credit control area.

You assign customers to specific credit control areas and specify the appropriate credit limits in the customer master record.
