Hi,

I created a PO, and gave account assignment as asset .

while i am posting MIGO , it shows an error message " you cannot post to asset in company code 1000 in year 2008".

How to solve this issue..

If it is Not the Authorization Issue, then Change the Fiscal Year for Asset Management (AM) in AJRW trxn code for Company code 1000.

Dear,

Please check the financial year open or close for the asset number.

Usually the asset related period close/open are handled by FI people, take help from them.

You can also use transaction OAAQ, OAAR - subject to authorizations availabel.

Check the AAC at TCode OME9 and/or

Check the GL A/c of Assset at control data tab whether reconciliation A/c for acct type is Asset or not (FS00)

hi,

Check the OMSY for the Current open periods for postings..

Then Go to MMPV

Open the period for your co.code till the current period..

Enter

Co.code - 1000

Period- XX

Year -

Execute

THe system will display a log

Then you can post your GR...
