Query As A Web Service SAP users connexion

Hi experts,

i have some problem to retrieve data from BOBJ via Query As A Web (end use Xcelsius) when i use SAP logins.

The connexion is fine with a BOBJ login but with the SAP login there is no data.

That is maybe because when i created the webservice via Query As A Web application,

i used the BO login but, the problem is that i can't choose the SAP connexion.

hi Selvam,

did you set the Authentication of the Web Service to SAP in the Query-as-a-WebService tool ?

Yes i did. I choosed both secSAPR3 and secEnterprise.

i can only see data with secEnterprise

By the way nice job for your articles (blog) it was very useful for me

Hi,

so how do you provide the user and password to the web service ?

The SAP Authentication is setup on the BOE Server ?

Hi,

i use Query As Werservice in xcelsuis so, wthen i click on prview button, a prompt is displayed and i can choose either Entreprise or SAP connxion .

i choosed SAP connexion and used SAP formated login like BI7~001/USERNAME

And i also tested the webservice with soapUI. The result is the same... i can't see data with SAP connexion.

so what is the result ? Are you getting back an error message ?

What is the authentication method in the underlying Universe ?
