Opening stocks for the Items

Hi

I want to put opening stock value for more than 2500 items which includes batch no, price list, catalog no and intial quantity, in DTW how to do it. Pls explain step by step also i want to know for putting the opening balance for inventory the opening balance account should be created in which drawer.

Already items are uploaded in database.

Thanks for your quick reply.

From that document i come to know like if suppose we are importing an item for example Pen 5 no's then we need to give batch no for all the 5 no's ( 5 rows) isn't.

If is this the way then in my scenario all 2500 items are having lot of intiall Qty's. Approx. my each items having more than 200 qty's , so whether i need to give 200 batch no's ( 200 rows )for that 200 qty's. Then if it is like this for my 2500 items they intial qty is going in lakhs . If i understood wrong pls tell me the correct way, form that doc. i didnt got clear picture.
