Folks,
I have the following scenario:
2 SLOC's for 1 plant; SLOC 1 and SLOC 2. SLOC 2 gets delivered through SLOC 1. The requirement from SLOC 2 can be defined through MRP by reorder point planning. Is it possible to have reservations from the outcome of MRP? Or can we have reservations automatically be generated if stock level falls below reorder point?
Regards,
MdZ
Hi,
You can test it very easily...
When the stock level is under the reoirder point and you execute an MRP run it will create both PldOrd (PurReq based on your settings) and Reser. as well under the plant.
At the same time, under the fromMRP-excluded SLoc you can see this reservation as 'Transf.' MRP element.
So, both procurement proposals and reservations are created during MRP run.

Hi ,
Whenever the MRP run is done the system checks the MRP stock level with the Reorder point level. If it fall short, then Purchase requisition or a planned order is generated. The PR can be converted into PO .
