PO Release Strategy

Hi All,

I want to set release procedure on price basis.

M1- >=10000

M2- 10001-20000

M3- 20001-30000

Where i have to assign this value & what is the proper syantax for intervals?

Use CL20N or CL24N transaction to assign value to the characterstics

Syntax:

M1- >=10000 Use: >=10000

M2- 10001-20000 Correct

M3- 20001-30000 Correct

Hi Subhajeet,

Other than the PO value have you mantained any other characteristic like Document type or Plant or Purchase group etc whose value might be missing in this case .If the combination is right it will attract release strategy.

Hi all

Thank u for ur prompt response. I have defined three release strategy n have assigned values accordingly. but when i am creating a PO of 25000 value. It is only asking my first code i.e manager 1 to release.

M1- >=10000

M2- 10001 - 20000

M3- <=20001

So my requirement is while releasing that PO it must ask M1,m2,m3 to release.

Hi,

Check the Release Prerequisites of the said release group and the release codes of the group.There should be three release codes M1,M2&M3 in the group and the release prerequisites should be checked such a way that first M1 to release next M2 & M3 accordingly.

Mention release group,release strategy and codes,

In Classification tab, you have to define ur values...

Format will be 1000 -2000

If you have already Created Release Charecterisitc for Net Price then you Can Maintain Charecteristic Values in CL20N / Release Strategy - Classification.

Hi,

u craete acharacterstic called Po val in CT04, in that u select currency format, multiple values allowed, no of char & decimal places.

Go to values , Give ur values, go to additinal data

table name ; CEKKO, fieldname: gnetw

then save.

Go to class CL02 assign this charcyerstic to ur class.

Go to release procedure then in characterstics u assign the interval at respective levels.

hi,

in edit characerstic on net value u have to define this . u need to select multiple values and uhave to specify values intervals by 10000 - 20000, that means first give 10000 and give one space ,give-, and give one space enter 20000, this will solve ur problem

Use tcode CL20N for assigning values to characteristics and classes.
