Customizing the Portalheader

Hello experts,

could you please send me any documentation about customizing the Portal header. Espiacelly size, position, widt etc.

The Issue is that i modified the company header - But there is still a standard Image behind my portalheader. How can I delete this standard Image from the cache?????

Hello Marco,

You can try to modify the Portal Header (also known as Masthead) by using the Theme Editor under System Administration -> Portal Display -> Theme Editor

Just click on the Portal Masthead there and you'll see a bunch of different parameters to change. This should be sufficient for most changes...

If it is not, your only other option is to take apart the portal component itself. The component name is com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead and can be download through System Administration as well. There is some blogs and more instructions you can find by searching. Going this route you can download the PAR file, make the changes to the JSP pages themselves, and then redeploy them.
