Create target group using group hierarchy from R/3

Hi all

We have a requirement to create target groups using the nodes of the business partner hierarchy. In previous cases this has been solved by linking the tables BUT_HIER_TREE, BUT_HIER_NODE and BUT_HIER_NODE_BP where the actual guids of the business partner belonging to a specific node is found in BUT_HIER_NODE_BP. This works fine when the hierarchies are created directly in CRM. However, when the hierarchies are created in R/3 and replicated to CRM the table BUT_HIER_NODE_BP is not filled. Any ideas on how to make this work using the hiearchies from R/3? Are there other tables that contain the info needed to create target groups? Any help would be highly appreciated.

source data of target group can be from infoset coming from CRM or ERP. so if you need to create target group specifically using ERP hierarchy, you may want to create the infoset in ERP and call it from CRM when creating the target group
